SOCAR plans to build chemical industrial park in Turkey
Ozturk added that it will provide a technological advancement for Turkey and there is a growing demand for chemical outputs in Turkey. The new model to be created by the company is going to provide a modern concept for chemical production.
Ozturk noted that they currently continue their activities regarding the production of ethylene from methane. He stated, “This will be a revolution for the energy sector of Turkey as it will reduce dependence on oil.”
SOCAR Turkey Enerji A.S., majority shareholder of Petkim petrochemical complex, is also carrying on with its Star refinery construction project.
