Asian Development Bank to increase loans to Indonesia

According to media reports, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will increase its lending to Indonesia to about $2 billion per year over the next five years in order to further support the country’s infrastructure projects.
From 2010 to 2014, the ADB provided Indonesia with loans of $740 million annually while, in 2015, the bank lent $1.67 billion in total for use in boosting financial market development and improving the energy and power sectors.
