Asian producers announce Feb PX contracts to Asia

Market sources report that South Korea’s S-Oil, SK Global Chemical and Japan’s JX Nippon nominated their February PX contracts to Asia with increases. S-Oil and SKGC respectively nominated their February PX contracts at $920/ton CFR Asia, up $70/ton and at $950/ton, up $100/ton from January settlements while Japan’s JX Nippon Oil announced its contract prices at $960/ton, according to market sources.
Nominations from Japan’s Idemitsu Kosan and ExxonMobil are yet to be revealed.
In Asia, spot PX prices, meanwhile, are currently reported at around $880/ton FOB Korea, up $30 from a week earlier.
