BP Refining and Petrochemicals to shut its cracker in Germany

According to market sources, BP Refining and Petrochemicals is planning maintenance at one of its steam crackers in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The maintenance will begin on August 23 and it will last until early October.
BP Refining and Petrochemicals has two crackers at its Gelsenkirchen site it with production capacities of 562,000 tons/year and 484,000 tons/year.
