Braskem Idesa’s complex undamaged by Mexico earthquake

According to a company official, Braskem Idesa has not suffered any damage or disruptions in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake in Mexico City. In a company statement, the complex is said to be running at normal rates and there are no logistical disruptions as well.
Braskem Idesa’s Veracruz complex can produce 1.05 million tons/year of PE. The site also houses two HDPE lines with a total capacity of 750,000 tons/year and a LDPE line with a capacity of 300,000 tons/year.
