COSCO slams US sanctions on China’s shipping sector
The company’s statement followed Washington’s announcement of restrictive actions stemming from a Section 301 investigation into these industries. COSCO warned that such measures distort fair competition and hinder the normal functioning of the global shipping industry.
According to the company, the US actions not only disrupt stability and sustainability in the sector but also pose a risk to the security and resilience of global industrial and supply chains.
