Chandra Asri chooses Univation Technologies for new PE plant

According to media reports, Indonesia’s largest integrated petrochemical company Chandra Asri Petrochemical chooses Univation Technologies’ UNIPOL PE Process for its new 400,000 tons/year polyethylene plant to be built in Cilegon, Indonesia.

Univation Technologies is a subsidiary of Dow Chemical Company and delivers process, product and catalyst technologies to the global PE industries for more than 45 years. The UNIPOL’s PE Process is a polyethylene process which is widely used across the globe for its safe process design and flexible product capability.

Chandra Asri’s new plant will produce HDPE, LLDPE and metallocene LLDPE, which will be used in consumer and industrial applications such as agricultural films, industrial shipping containers and houseware food storage containers.
