Chevron declares FM on PE production in Texas

Market sources reported that Chevron Phillips Chemical declared force majeure on its PE production from Orange, Texas on March 13 due to a power outage that affected Orange and the nearby cities.
When the force majeure will be lifted is not yet known, sources said.
The PE plant in Orange, Texas has a production capacity of 420,000 tons/year.
