Chevron restarts PE unit at Cedar Bayou

According to media reports, Chevron Phillips Chemical has restarted one of its PE units at Cedar Bayou, Texas this week.
The company restarted its other PE unit at its complex during the previous week, which had remained offline since Hurricane Harvey made landfall across the region.
The complex houses a 835,000 tons/year cracker in addition to three PE lines with a total capacity of 791,000 tons/year.
