China aims for $400 billion trade with Africa by 2020

According to media reports, China aims to increase its foreign trade value with African states to $400 billion by 2020. In 2015, meanwhile, trade value between China and African countries will reach $300 billion, according to the Fourth China-Africa Industrial Forum (CAIF) held in Beijing.

Through improving economic ties, African countries can benefit from China’s advanced industrial developments and technologies as well as get funds for new projects.

Meanwhile, China’s trade with the EU countries and the US was reported at €467.3 billion ($501.6 billion) and $590.68 billion in 2014, respectively.
