China rolls out biggest Covid-19 lockdown in Shanghai
The lockdown will be split into two stages. The eastern side of the city will go under a new strict lockdown from March 28 until 1 April, and a similar lockdown will be launched in the western side from April 1 to April 5.
Accordingly, public transportation will be suspended and all public institutions and enterprises in the city will either halt operations or work from home.
