China’s 2019 PVC exports hit lowest in 7 years, imports down for 2nd year
PVC imports, meanwhile, decreased for the second consecutive year to hit the lowest figure since 2016. Data suggest that they were down by around 10% on a yearly basis to 665,065 tons last year.

The US maintain its spot as the top PVC supplier to China for the ninth straight year. PVC imports from the US totaled 296,804 tons last year. Taiwan followed the US with 183,753 tons.
In December alone, China imported 58,010 tons of PVC, down 12% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
