China’s CNPC, France’s Total sign cooperation agreement

According to a press release on the company’s website, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and Total signed a framework agreement for strategic cooperation on March 20 to promote oil and gas cooperation on a global scale on win-win terms for both parties.
Under the agreement, the two companies aim to increase cooperation in oil and gas investments as well as oilfield services in a sustainable manner. The parties are currently in comprehensive cooperation in upstream and downstream businesses as well as in trading of crude and petroleum products both in China and other countries.
