China’s Chongqing Pengwei to restart PTA plant after 3 hiatus

According to market sources, Chinese Chongqing Pengwei Petrochemical is planning to restart its PTA plant at Fuling, Sichuan in Q1 of 2017.
The plant has a production capacity of 900,000 tons/year.
The company had shut the plant over three years ago due to poor margins.
