China’s Jiutai Energy delays start up of Erdos project

According to market players, China’s Inner Mongolia Jiutai Energy has delayed the start up of its coal-to-olefin (CTO) project at Erdos to early 2016. The project was initially expected to come on stream in October 2015. The construction of the project was begun in March 2013.

The proposed plant is expected have production capacities of 250,000 tons/year of PE and 350,000 tons/year of PP.
