China's Luxi Chemical to start up MTO plant in China

According to media reports, China’s Luxi Chemical is planning to start up its new MTO plant in Shandong, China by the first half of 2018.
The plant is expected to consume 800,000 tons/year of methanol to produce 300,000 tons/year of PP and ethylene. The company will also use domestically-produced coal to produce methanol.
