China’s Shaanxi Beiyuan restarts PVC plant

According to sources close to the company, China’s Shaanxi Beiyuan Chemical Industry Group Co Ltd is restarting its acetylene-based PVC plant following a planned maintenance.
The 1,100,000 tons/year capacity plant was taken offline two weeks ago.
Operating rates at the plant will be increased gradually, sources also reported.
