China's Shanghai Golden Phillips shuts HDPE plant

According to market sources, China’s Shanghai Golden Phillips Petrochemical shut its HDPE plant, a joint venture between Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical and Chevron Phillips Chemical, in Shanghai on October 17 due to planned maintenance. It is expected to last around 20 days.
The HDPE plant is able to produce blow molding, film, pipe, and wire resin and has a capacity of 135,000 tons/year.
