China’s Shanghai Secco plans maintenance at its styrene plant

Market sources report that China’s Shangai Secco Petrochemical is planning to shut its styrene plant in the middle of August for a planned maintenance. The plant is expected to be offline for around 30 days.
Sources reported that the company brought forward their maintenance plans from September, partly due to the G20 summit.
The plant is able to produce 650,000 tons/year of styrene.
