China's Shenhua Ningxia starts up PE unit

According to sources close to the company, China’s Shenhua Ningxia has commenced production at its new PE units in Ningdong, China as scheduled.
Accordingly, the company has successfully begun commercial production at its 450,000 tons/year HDPE/LLDPE swing line albeit at reduced rates after completing the first phase of the start-up.
However, the company’s new 600,000 tons/year PP unit still remains offline due to ongoing supply issues.
