China’s Sinopec settles October PX, PTA contracts

According to market sources, China’s state-owned China Petroleum and Chemical Corp. which is known as Sinopec has settled its October contracts in Asia. The company settled its October PX contract with an increase of CNY5/ton ($1/ton) from September at CNY6430/ton ($815/ton without VAT). The September PX contract was settled at CNY6425/ton.
Plus, it is reported that the company’s October PTA contract has been settled at CNY4900/ton ($622/ton without AT) with an increase CNY80/ton ($12/ton) on a monthly basis.
