China’s Sinopec to restart MEG plant after explosion

According to market sources, China’s Sinopec is planning to restart their MEG plant in Nanjing by the end of May. The company shut the plant following an explosion which occurred on April 21 at its subsidiary Nanjing Yangzi Petrochemical’s complex.

The MEG plant has a production capacity of 200,000 tons/year.
