China to grant crude import licenses to more small refineries

According to media reports, China’s Commerce Ministry reported in its website that the government will grant licenses to four additional non-major oil refineries to import crude. So far, several small Chinese refiners have been granted quotas to use imported oil or import oil directly themselves.
The latest four refineries to be granted import licenses include Shandong Huifeng Petrochemical Group, Tianhong Chemical, Shandong Chambroad Petrochemicals Co. and Shandong Shouguang Luqing Petrochemical Co.
