Chinese Pucheng Clean Energy restarts MTO plant

According to sources close to the company, China’s Pucheng Clean Energy Chemical restarted its methanol-to-olefin plant in Shaanxi, China last week following a planned maintenance shutdown in October.
The Chinese company already commenced production at its MTO plant and its PP and PE production is expected to return to full rates this week.
The company houses a 400,000 tons/year PE plant and a 300,000 tons/year HDPE/LLDPE swing plant.
