Chinese Shandong shuts styrene plant for maintenance

According to sources close to the company, China’s Shangdong Yuhuang Chemical Co. Ltd. has shut its styrene unit in Shandong, China for a scheduled turnaround on November 9.
The planned maintenance is expected to last until November 23.
The company’s Shandong plant is able to produce 200,000 tons/year of styrene.
