Chinese Tongkun Group to start up PTA plant

According to media reports, Chinese Tongkun Group is planning to start a new PTA plant in Zhapu, Zheijiang by the second half of October.
The new unit is planned to have a production capacity of 2 million tons/year of PTA. However, the new unit will reportedly run at 80% capacity once it starts operations.
Tongkun already has a 1.5 million tons/year PTA plant, located at the same area.
