Czech Unipetrol to ramp up run rates at Litvinov site

According to a statement on the company’s website, the Czech Republic’s Unipetrol is gradually increasing operating rates at its Litvinov refinery nowadays. The company’s 544,000 tons/year steam cracker is also expected to return to its normal rates in early January.
The company was forced to reduce the run rates at its cracker and refinery following an explosion at its partial oxidation (POX) unit occurred on December 12.
