December PX and PTA contracts settle in US

December PX contract prices have been settled in the US, according to market sources. The new contract prices settled at 42 cents/lb ($925/ton), up 1.5 cents/lb ($33/ton) from November.
In the US, spot PX prices were reported at $795/ton on an FOB US Gulf Coast basis on Friday.
Meanwhile, US PTA prices for December settled at 42.84 cents/lb ($944/ton), up 1.01 cents ($22) from November, sources said, which is the highest of 15 months.
