December benzene contract settles in Europe

According to market sources, an initial December benzene contract settled in Europe. The new settlement stood at €847/ton ($1002/ton with the recent parity) FD NWE, up €145/ton ($187/ton) when compared to the November level.
In Europe, spot benzene prices were last reported at around $990/ton CIF NWE, which indicated an increase of $130/ton compared to early November.
