December butadiene contracts settle in US

According to market sources, December butadiene contracts in the US settled with sharp decreases of around 10-12 cents/lb ($220-265/ton) from November. The new contracts stand at around 51.25-49.25 cents/lb ($1130-1085/ton).
Spot butadiene prices in the US were last reported at around 50 cents/lb ($1102/ton) CIF USG, down by around 7 cents/lb ($154/ton) from the beginning of the month.
