December propylene contracts fully settle in US

According to market sources, December propylene contracts fully settled in the US. The new propylene contracts followed the initial settlement which were announced Tuesday and were reportedly agreed with a decrease of 4 cents/lb ($88/ton) from November at 31.5 cents/lb ($683/ton) FD USG for polymer-grade propylene and at 30 cents/lb ($661/ton) for chemical grade.
Sources reported that the new settlement level is in line with market expectations which had called for a drop of 2-4 ($44-88) cents/lb in December.
The new contract price indicates the lowest level since March 2016.
