December propylene contracts settle in US

According to market sources, December propylene contracts were agreed in the US with a 1 cent/lb ($22/ton) increase over November at 50 cents/lb ($1102/ton) for polymer-grade propylene (PGP) and 48.5 cents/lb ($1069/ton) for chemical-grade propylene, all FD USG.
The higher settlement was attributed to firmer spot prices and tight supplies amid outages across the region.
