Dow Chemical reports financial results for Q2

US-based Dow Chemical released its financial results for the second quarter of 2017, according to a press release on the company’s website. The company posted an operating EBITDA of $2.8 billion in Q2 of 2017, up 12% when compared to the same period of last year. This rise was mainly driven by higher prices, stronger demand and launching new products.
Meanwhile, the company’s sales increased by 16% on a yearly basis to $13.8 billion on the back of increasing sales volume in performance materials and chemicals.
