EU terminates anti-dumping duties on PET imports from China

According to media reports, the European Union terminated the 13-year-long anti-dumping measures on China’s PET products last Tuesday following their investigation concluding that such a termination would not be against their bloc’s interests.
The EU started an anti-dumping investigation on some imported Chinese PET materials for the first time in 2003, after which it decided to impose an anti-dumping duty on PET imports in 2004 for five years. The measures were later extended for another five years in 2010.
