Egypt agrees on oil products deal with Saudi Aramco

According to media reports, Egypt and Saudi Arabia’s state-owned company Saudi Aramco have agreed on an oil products deal. The deal is planned to begin in September and will be valid for the following three months.

According to the deal, Egypt will receive 500,000 tons/month of diesel fuel, 220,000 tons/month of heating oil and 150,000 tons/month of gasoline from Aramco. In return, Egypt will pay Aramco a total of $1.4 billion within a year.
