In Egypt, one of the local PVC producers, EPC, announced their PVC prices for the second half of June with decreases. The producer implemented declines of EGP400/ton ($45/ton) on their prices, bringing new offers to EGP8700/ton ($980/ton) for PVC k67-68 and to EGP8850/ton ($997/ton) for PVC k70 on an ex-Alexandria, cash excluding VAT basis.

For the first half of the month, the producer had revealed their PVC prices with EGP100/ton ($11/ton) decreases when compared to May.

A source from the producer stated, “Demand is very calm and trading activities are slow during Ramadan. Meanwhile, our plant is still operating at full rates. We hope that demand will improve soon.”
