Egypt’s EPPC announces August homo PP offers

EPPC, one of the two local PP producers of Egypt, revealed its new homo PP offers for August with rollovers from July, according to a company source. This is the second month in a row that the producer rolled over its offers.
The producer’s new offers are reported at $1140/ton for homo PP raffia and at $1160/ton for fibre, both on an ex-works Port Said, cash basis.
“We elected to roll over our prices given the poor economic conditions. Demand is already slow and will not bear any price hikes. Meanwhile, we have good stocks to deliver to our customers,” said the source.
