A source from Egypt’s one of the local PP producers, EPPC, said that the producer revealed its new PP offers for June with decreases of $20/ton from May in line with Middle Eastern producers, who announced rollovers or decreases in their offers for June.
The producer’s new offers are reported at $1140/ton for homo PP raffia and at $1160/ton for fibre, both on an ex-works Port Said, cash basis.
The source added that demand remains weak and they do not expect to see a major improvement throughout Ramadan.
