Egypt’s EPPC reveals September homo PP offers

EPPC, one of the two local PP producers of Egypt, revealed its new homo PP offers for September with slight increases of $10/ton from August in line with the global firming following two consecutive months of stability, according to a company source.
The producer’s new offers are reported at $1150/ton for homo PP raffia and at $1170/ton for fibre, both on an ex-works Port Said, cash basis.
“Operations are normal at our plant, but demand is still slow due to the persisting holiday lull and poor economic conditions,” said the source.
