Egypt’s ETHYDCO starts LLDPE production

A source from the Egyptian Ethylene and Derivatives Company (ETHYDCO) confirmed that they have launched LLDPE production at their HDPE/LLDPE swing line. The producer had started their ethylene production by the middle of March in line with their original plans.
The source stated, “Our LLDPE operations are going smoothly for the time being while we are planning to launch our HDPE line by the end of July.” ETHYDCO has 460,000 tons/year ethylene and 400,000 tons/year integrated PE capacity.
