Egypt’s OPC announces Sept PP offers to local market

OPC, one of the two local PP producers of Egypt, announced its September offers for PP raffia at EGP14,750-15,350/ton ($932-971/ton), all on an ex-Ain Sokhna, cash not including VAT basis. Because of the changing EGP-USD exchange rate, the equivalent USD price remained within the overall range.
“We are operating full capacity and aiming for a production record this month,” a source close to the company said, pointing at high demand from both local and export markets.
