Egypt’s SIDPEC reveals May PE offers

Following ETHYDCO, Egypt’s other local PE producer SIDPEC has announced its new May offers with rollovers from April.
Accordingly, SIDPEC’s offers are reported at EGP22,200/ton ($1213/ton) for HDPE film, EGP22,500/ton ($1229/ton) for HDPE blow molding and EGP22,000/ton ($1202/ton) for injection, all on ex-Alexandria, 60 days deferred payment excluding VAT basis.
A producer source commented that demand is still disappointing and they are not facing any issue in delivering to their customers.
