Egypt’s SIDPEC to shut HDPE plant

According to sources close to the company, Egypt’s SIDPEC is planning to shut its HDPE plant in July due to a planned maintenance that is expected to last for a month.
It is not yet known if they will be able to deliver to the market during the maintenance.
The sources reported that the company is currently running its plant at full capacity and delivering HDPE film this week while they will start to deliver HDPE b/m as of May 22.
