Egypt’s TCI Sanmar issues mid- Jan PVC offers

A source from one of Egypt’s local PVC producers, TCI Sanmar, reported that the producer implemented further increases of EGP800/ton ($43/ton) for the remainder of January on top of initial increases for the month. The producer’s new offers stand at EGP21,800/ton ($1011/ton w/o VAT) for PVC k67-68, on an ex-Port Said, cash including VAT basis.
The source said that they delivered good allocations to the market during this month and they received good feedback from their customers following the price increases, adding that the import market is also strong.
