Egypt’s TCI Sanmar lowers PVC offers for H1 August

In Egypt, one of the local PVC producers, TCI Sanmar, announced its PVC offers for the first half of August with decreases of EGP500/ton ($28/ton) from their latest July offers.
The producer’s offers are reported at EGP19,600/ton for PVC k67-68, on an ex-Port Said, cash including VAT basis ($963/ton without VAT).
“Demand is weak to moderate. Players are facing tight liquidity and poor economic conditions, hence they are limiting their purchases,” said a producer source.
