Egypt’s exports of plastic products move notably higher

Egypt’s plastic exports stand for 27% of the country’s total chemical and fertilizers exports now, according to the Chemical and Fertilizers Export Council’s (CEC) announcement made at the PLASTEX 2024 event that takes place on January 9-12 in Cairo. The figure marks a total value of $1.75 billion for plastic exports.
This rise can be attributed to the actions of Egyptian government and the private sector in heightening the country’s industrial and export capacities. To support the growth of the country’s export capabilities, both parties contributed by adopting new technologies, improving production, and expanding relations with other global players.
