Egypt’s local PVC producers issue offers for H2 July
EPC decreased its offers to EGP17,250/ton ($960/ton) for PVC k67-68 and to EGP18,050/ton ($1006/ton) for PVC k70, all on an ex-Port Said, cash excluding VAT basis.
Meanwhile, TCI Sanmar’s new PVC offers are reported unchanged at EGP20,100/ton ($983/ton without VAT) for PVC k67-68 on ex-Alexandria, cash including VAT basis. The official exchange rate is used for the US dollar calculations.
A source from the producer commented, ”Demand is slow. Our operations are going smoothly at our plant and our allocations are sufficient. The market outlook is uncertain.”
