In the United Arab Emirates, the local producer, Borouge, revealed its September PP and PE prices with rollovers. This has been the second consecutive month that the producer kept its homo PP and PE prices stable after applying decreases of $20-40/ton on PE and $80/ton on PP in July.
The offer levels now stand at $1180/ton for LLDPE film, at $1100/ton for HDPE film and at $1020/ton for homo PP raffia and inj., on FD Dubai, cash.
A distributor noted, “Demand has been slow during the past two months, which is the reason why some players expect to see discounts in September deals.”
