Equipolymers to shut PET plant in Germany

According to sources close to the company, Dubai-based Equipolymers is readying to shut its PET plant in Schkopau, Germany for a major maintenance by the first quarter of 2018.
The scheduled turnaround is expected to last for four weeks, between February and March 2018.
The company’s Schkopau plant is able to produce 350,000 ton/year of PET.
