ExxonMobil releases Q2 financial results

According to a release on the company’s website, Exxon Mobil Corporation reported its financial results for the second quarter for 2017. Accordingly, the company posted a net income of $3.35 billion in the second quarter of 2017, almost doubling from $1.7 billion in the same quarter of last year. This rise mainly stemmed from an increase in commodity prices.
However, the company’s net income fell on a quarterly basis by 54%.
Meanwhile, the company’s cash flow from operational activities and assets increased to $7.1 billion in Q2 from $5.6 billion on the year.
